Toilet

This was where the communal kitchen for tenants of 22 Hale Street used to be. The original walls and structures were retained during the restoration project.
If you look up to the ceiling, you can see the wooden beams are all black because they were darkened by the charcoal smoke. These are the only beams in this building that survived termite infestation!
This toilet won the 1st place in the Clean Public Toilet Recognition Competition under the Eatery/Restaurant category in 2019.
It is a popular spot not only for selfies, but for bridal shoots too! Do take a selfie before you exit and tag us on social medias!
Gift Shop Stairs

This was the original staircase of 22 Hale Street. According to a former tenant, every tenant had one step where they would arrange their shoes.
Gift Shop

This space used to be a bicycle parking space for movie-goers to the Sun Cinema situated right behind this building. In later years, it became a signboard maker’s workshop.
Before you leave, do check out the products in the gift shop and bring home exclusive merchandise and publications. Also, on display are creative products and crafts by local creatives and social enterprises that 22 Hale Street aims to support.
